Manufacturing Career Awareness Event

Join JA and The Workplace to learn more about manufacturing in CT!
Did you know that manufacturing is one of the fastest growing industries in Connecticut? The Manufacturing Industry employs nearly 10% of the workforce in CT. With over 3,700 employers, the average worker earns between $60,000-100,000 annually.
On Thursday, October 28th, JA will partner with The WorkPlace to give local students a glimpse into the Manufacturing industry in Connecticut. Students will hear from industry leaders from Sikorsky, Bigelow Tea, and more, about what they do, the skills required to enter the industry, and programs available to high school students.
